Our Event Series
Knowledge grows through conversation.
Our Event Series brings together environmental organisations, professionals from across sectors and people with a shared interest in the natural world.
Each event explores an environmental challenge from a scientific perspective, with opportunities to consider emerging solutions, ask questions and exchange ideas.
Art and photography exhibitions complement the programme, offering creative perspectives on the themes we discuss.

Blue Carbon and Habitat Restoration
Projects involving blue carbon and habitat restoration provide nature based solutions for climate change and ecosystem services such as natural flood protection. The aim of this Event Series will be to bring together the scientists and conservation officers working in blue carbon and restoration with those wishing to find out more about the solutions it offers and interested in funding these projects. The evening event will provide a networking opportunity. Scheduled for Spring 2027.

Invited guests included FCDO Polar Regions Department, environmental consultants working in Antarctica and EIA, the documentary film makers behind Emmy award winning "Secrets of the Penguins". Our guest speaker was Adam Donnan, CEO of the Institution of Environmental Sciences. With thanks to our Gold Sponsors White Desert Ltd and Silver Sponsors Wave International for making the Antarctic Event Series possible.
